Every artist and craftsman must learn, develop, study, and refine the techniques that he must use to create his works. I will attempt to describe some of my techniques here. I’d like to emphasize, however, that every craftsman does things a little differently, and while the techniques I will describe on these pages work for me, there are no doubt other craftsmen, many with far more experience than I, who do things more efficiently, more effectively, or perhaps just differently. We can learn from all of them.
